Business Incubation

The North Queensland Small Business Development Centre’s business incubator is located within ten kilometres of the Central Business District of Townsville and is ideally located to service the existing and future needs of the city and surrounding region.

Business incubators are facilities designed to establish and nurture start-up and early stage businesses.  They provide affordable space, shared offices and services, hands-on management training, marketing support and assistance to access finance.

The centre’s incubator provides all of these services including discounted rent for qualifying applicants.

We currently offer 22 light industrial work spaces, each 52 square metres in area.  There are also 6 x 12 square metre and 1 x 54 square metre offices.  Applications are accepted from businesses in the initial start-up stage to those which are outgrowing their home-based status.
